The first time I saw you, you were a year old. 25+ years pass, I search for you and find you.
My facebook messages go unanswered. I return home looking for a friend who just happens to be family.
Every few months I leave a voice mail on your phone with no response.
A year passes and one evening you finally answered. You were at a party. Maybe you were a little drunk?
You said you would call me back. A month passes and you never did. So I call you one last time and waited
weeks for you to return my call. You know who I am. There's no excuse for you to not call me back.
I have done nothing to you to justify this isolation. You leave me no choice but to track you down.
It was obvious your heart sank when I announced who I was at your work.
You KNEW you had not treated me fair by ignoring me. You know you have no reason to not return my messages.
You didn't do a good job hiding your panic by consulting your co-workers.
I say how dare you treat me with less courtesy than one of your customers.
You think how dare I to come to your place of work.
So you put your mask on and answer a couple of questions after realizing there is no escape for this moment.
Unable to get past how I found you the conversation begins to stall.
I know this isn't the best location for some personal questions.
you brought it on yourself by not returning my messages and I had traveled too far to not get an answer.
You had me fooled though. I was looking forward to hanging and being your cousin. But no.
You had to be a sissy drama queen to your sister and sound the psycho alarm.
Given your lifestyle and spending your life fighting for acceptance,
I would think you would be a little more free to hand some out. So now I call you out.
You issued the punishment before there was a crime.
I'm proud to be a Suess. Ashamed to know such a coward.
Your cousin.
